The Big Ride, hosted by Miki and Lisa Barber “The Barber Twins” is back! Come join the twins in a 10 mile ride around beautiful Montclair. The ride will start and end in Glenfield park by the park house. Even if you don’t ride, enjoy the day in the park with food, music, Double Dutch, raffles and vendors from local organizations.
“The Big Ride” came about by the loss of their paternal grandmother on 8. 21. 2020. The local mailman Nadhir, who is an avid rider who encouraged Miki to ride for two years. After her grandmother’s passing, Miki finally went for a ride and decided to bring it back to her hometown. The twins are Alzheimer Association End ALZ athletes who lost their maternal grandmother to early onset Alzheimer’s disease at age 65 in 2000. Both grandmothers are Montclair natives.
In these trying times, we are all experiencing grief and uncertainty. If you’ve lost someone, have a different cause or just want to have fun, Come ride with The Twins and Nadhir! Try something new! Get active! Stay active!
Please bring a mask and wear it!!!! Bring a bike, wear a helmet. Enjoy the festivities. Small town, Big love!!!
